CACC 107th Birthday

Five score and seven years ago our founding father – Brigadier General Edwin A. Forbes -  brought forth in the Great State of California, a new program, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all students can be good citizens and leaders.  We celebrate April 5, 1911 as the birthday of the California Cadet Corps, and this year celebrate its 107th birthday looking forward to a strong and vibrant future of growth and success.  We have challenges ahead, as did General Forbes in 1911, but we will face those challenges together as a Corps, and use them to strengthen our resolve to impart leadership training and development to our cadets.  To the 10th Corps and all its units, to the commandants and support personnel that make everything in our program happen, Happy Birthday, and thank you for what you do for the California Cadet Corps and its members.  Essayons!
